♥ an english e mail
judy tan e mailed me the english ppr 1 today. she said i got a freaking 27 for the ppr 2!!! but then she added that only 8 passed in my class. oh well. *shrugs*
oh man. i simply cannot concentrate on typing the damn compo out, you know? not when Gerard Way is screaming in the background, "what's the worst thing i can say/things are better if i stay/so long & good night..."
ARGH. it is hard not to sing along to an addictive song like that.
anyway, back to the e mail. in a small portion of the e mail, she said, "You must read more and build up your vocab and style, as well as your ability to explore issues indepth."
hello? why is the whole world telling me to brush up on my vocab?!! how the HELL can one brush up on one's vocab?!?! like, read the dictionary, memorize it??? jeez!
oh well. but she was quite nice. she said she had chicken pox in her JC 2, and her father had to bring the exam papers back home for her & she didnt do very well.
BUT, i have no idea now how to do the compo unless i have full attention. it is difficult to have full attention when you are comfortably in your pyjamas after a nice hot bath after a full day of relaxing with the desperate housewives.
i think i'll do qn 5, though. such a surprise. i always do the 1 word qn, cos it's easier, you know? can twist the word around & write it in a different way, unlike argumentative & expositary, which have to stick to 1 topic only.
it is freaky getting an e mail frm my english teacher. esp when she's acting so nice. chi ruan bu chi ying, you know? (translation: eat soft not eat hard. :p -meaning, i will do things if ppl ask me in a nice way, not if ppl force me to do things.) ARGH!
